JOB PURPOSE Accomplishing bidding of potential projects, maintenance planning, scheduling functions, and developing workflows and sequences for maintenance visits.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting and standing for extended periods. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching shoulder level. Requires occasional lifting or carrying weights up to 20 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Telephone, computer, printer, copy machine, reader printer, and calculator.
Work Location: Aircraft maintenance hangars, Technical Library, Planning Office.
Potential Hazards: Exposure to high-intensity noise levels, changes in temperature and materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.
Protective Equipment Required: Ear and eye protection where applicable.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; strong attention to detail and mathematical skills; ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction; ability to interpret and apply technical data relating to the position. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree, post-secondary education, training in aircraft maintenance, or equivalent education or experience required.
Experience: Office Administration background a plus. Two or more years of experience in aircraft maintenance with planning at an MRO or similar industry preferred. Computer literacy working with Microsoft software.
Attitude: Strong desire to learn, progress and build a career within the aircraft maintenance industry.
Certificates/Licenses: A&P License or similar certification preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
